Nintendo announced the Switch 2 at CES this year, showcasing its design and possible features. However, the release date wasn’t revealed. Now, a report suggests that the Switch 2 may arrive by June and get a three-phase game rollout. Here’s everything you need to know about Nintendo’s next console.
The company will reportedly follow a three-phase game rollout plan, wherein the first-party games for the console will be made available at launch. The third-party titles however, are said to arrive in the second-phase, i.e., between October and November.
The third-phase will be in the holiday period, around the time of Christmas. Expect more games to arrive around this time. It’s unclear whether these will be third-party or first-party titles or a mix of both.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed to have a larger footprint, with a bigger display compared to the original Switch. It will also feature magnetic Joy-Cons, brining novelty to the setup. The console will feature a Type-C port and a 3.5mm jack for connecting wired headphones.
