Nikon has announced the new Nikon Z8 camera in India. The new mirrorless camera is a compact version of the flagship Z9, and retains the best features aimed at stills and videography. The Nikon Z8 price also makes it a little more affordable. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Nikon camera.

Nikon Z8: What’s new?

The Nikon Z8 comes with a 45.7MP sensor and is powered by an EXPEED 7 processor. It can also capture 120 frames per second and supports video recording at up to 8K UHD resolution. The camera also comes with a number of features aimed at both photographers and videographers. This includes focus peaking, fine ISO control (1/6 EV), timecode linking, and RAW proxy file support.

Made for professionals, the Nikon Z8 also supports a wide range of accessories. These include products like the MC-N10 remote grip as well as numerous other microphones and gimbals.

The monitor of the Nikon Z8 camera also comes with a neat four-axis tilting monitor for when users need to shoot in different positions and during playback. The 8cm monitor is also touch-sensitive, allowing photographers and videographers to review their work seamlessly.

Nikon Z8 price and availability

The new Nikon Z8 body has launched at Rs 3,43,995 in India, making it significantly less expensive than the flagship Z9 –Rs 4,75,995. This makes the Z8 an option worth considering for users who want a more compact body and those who may be looking for a cheaper alternative.
