Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is bringing back the zombie-slaying chaos you loved from the original but with a fresh new look. You’ll step into the shoes of journalist Frank West, trapped in a mall packed with the undead. Your goal? Survive 72 hours and uncover the truth behind the outbreak.  

The remaster cranks up the visuals with Capcom’s RE Engine, giving you more realistic character models, better environments, and all the blood-splattering action you expect. Furthermore, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is packed with quality-of-life upgrades like auto-saving and smoother controls. The game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on September 19, 2024. 

3. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is here to take your wizarding adventures to the skies! Following last year’s hit, Hogwarts Legacy, this game shakes things up with fast-paced, competitive Quidditch action.

Developed by Unbroken Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games, Quidditch Champions promises to deliver stunning visuals and immersive gameplay. Whether you’re playing as a Chaser, Seeker, Beater, or Keeper, you’ll dive into exciting broomstick battles, dodge Bludgers, score goals, and chase the Golden Snitch. With different multiplayer modes, you can go head-to-head with friends or take on players from around the world.

4. Star Trucker

If you’re looking for a break from the usual space shoot-em-ups, Star Trucker has got you covered. You’ll take on the role of a galactic trucker, cruising through space in a rocket-powered rig, hauling cargo, scavenging for loot, and interacting with a colourful cast of characters.  

The game’s Americana-inspired style adds a unique flair to the cosmic adventure. From epic deliveries to tricky drop-offs, there’s always a new challenge. Furthermore, you can also tune into the interactive CB radio for gossip, docking requests, or a call for help and upgrade your rig at auto-shops to explore new areas and tackle tougher jobs. Beyond the core trucking gameplay, Star Trucker offers opportunities for trading, exploration, and survival. The game launches on PC and Xbox Series X and Series S on September 3, 2024.

5. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is about to shake things up in the Zelda universe. This time, you’ll play as Princess Zelda instead of Link, giving the adventure a fresh spin. The game sports a charming art style similar to Link’s Awakening, blending nostalgia with new ideas.  

 Zelda’s new quest takes her through a Hyrule torn apart by mysterious rifts. With the Tri Rod in hand, she can create echoes – copies of objects and enemies, to help solve puzzles and tackle challenges. You’ll also be able to bind objects, adding a cool strategic twist to how you interact with the world. Along the way, Zelda will run into familiar faces like Deku Scrubs, Gerudo, Gorons, and Zora as she works to save Link and Hyrule. The game releases on September 26, 2024, for the Nintendo Switch. 

6. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Space Marines are back and more intense than ever in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2! You’ll step into the boots of Titus, a legendary Space Marine, returning to the front lines. The game mixes fierce melee action with smart ranged tactics, making it both challenging and rewarding. As Titus, you’ll face off against hordes of terrifying Tyranids and the insidious forces of Chaos, all while navigating a war-torn galaxy.
