Do you ever find yourself hooked on a scene that stays with you long after it’s over? Well, Netflix has come up with a simple solution, Moments. The streaming platform has launched a new feature that allows subscribers to save, relive, and share their favourite scenes on Netflix.
With this new feature, Netflix aims to enhance viewer engagement by allowing users to bookmark, save and share these scenes from its entire content library, be it movies or series.
What are Netflix Moments?
With Moments, Netflix users can capture iconic scenes, great cinematography, or hilarious fits. These ‘Moments’ can be shared on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter). This update simplifies the process of sharing clips as Netflix has long prevented screen recordings or screenshots from being captured on the platform.
Netflix Moments: How do they work?
Let’s say you are watching the latest season of Bridgerton and you wish to save the scene where Colin and Penelope share their first kiss. You can simply tap ‘Moments’ on the bottom of your screen and it will automatically save the scene to your My Netflix tab on your smartphone.
You can revisit these Moments anytime. If you were to rewatch the entire episode or film, it will start playing from the scene you have bookmarked.
Sharing these Moments on social platforms is also convenient. The option to share is available as you create it or, you can access it from the My Netflix tab. You can select the scene and tap to share it across the platform you wish to share it on.

The Moments feature has been rolled out globally to iPhone users and will debut on Android in the coming weeks. This feature will hopefully expand in the future and may offer more ways for users to enjoy the feature.
