Like every year, Samsung is back with its next-gen display concepts at MWC. Its latest lineup of concepts isn’t what you’d expect. There’s a tri-fold screen that flips asymmetrically, a briefcase that folds open to a massive screen, a bendable panel placed on a smart speaker, and more. Let’s look at all of Samsung’s quirky display concepts at MWC 2025.
All Samsung concepts displayed at MWC 2025
Starting with Samsung’s ‘Asymmetric flip’. The concept phone folds from the top and bottom, leaving some space in the middle to display useful information like time and weather.
In addition to this, Samsung also showcased its flexi briefcase concept. The briefcase folds open to reveal an 18.1-inch OLED screen. This concept looks useful, as it can display all your essential information on a big screen. Imagine taking this to your office instead of a laptop! Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
Another concept that Samsung showcased is a foldable gaming console that looks similar to the Nintendo Switch. It is basically a clamshell flip phone placed inside the body of a handheld console. This design may allow for a more travel-friendly experience.
Samsung also showcased a clamshell foldable phone that features a polygon-shaped screen on the front. The cover screen’s unusual shape makes it eye-catching, but apart from that, it’s unclear what its exact usage is.
Apart from this, Samsung also showed a bendable screen on a smart speaker. The screen comes upwards when there’s more information to display. It could be useful when you want to watch a music video.
