Realme has refreshed its TWS lineup with the Buds Air 7, bringing notable design changes and upgraded features. Announced in China alongside the Realme Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x, these earbuds pack high-end features like LHDC 5.0 support and up to 52dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
While we await an India launch, we got a chance to try them out briefly at MWC 2025, and here are our first impressions.
Realme Buds Air 7 design
The biggest visual change comes in the charging case. Realme has moved away from the previous pebble-shaped design in favour of a more squared, suitcase-style case. Some variants, like the black colourway, feature a transparent lid, adding a touch of flair.

However, the hinge doesn’t feel particularly sturdy, so durability is something we’ll have to assess in long-term testing. Both the case and earbuds are lightweight, and the earbuds themselves offer a snug and comfortable fit.
Realme Buds Air 7 features and ANC
Feature-wise, the Buds Air 7 don’t hold back. The headline feature is ANC up to 52dB, which is an upgrade over the Buds Air 6.
In our short test, the ANC did a surprisingly good job of cutting out background chatter in the crowded Realme booth – a promising sign.
These earbuds also come with AI noise reduction for calls, Bluetooth 5.4, Swift Pair, and dual-device connectivity. There’s also a low-latency mode with a claimed 45ms response time, which could appeal to mobile gamers.
The Realme Buds Air 7 will work with the Realme Link app, offering users customisation options for controls, sound profiles, and ANC levels.

Realme claims up to 52 hours of total playback time without ANC, or 30 hours with ANC enabled. A quick 10-minute charge is said to provide up to 10 hours of use.
Realme Buds Air 7 first impressions
The Realme Buds Air 7 introduce a fresh design while packing plenty of useful features. The improved ANC, dual-device connectivity, and 52-hour-long battery life make them an interesting option in the budget TWS segment.
While they’ve already been announced in China, we’ll have to wait and see when Realme brings them to India. In the meantime, stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma for more such interesting tech launches and reviews.
