Mobile World Congress (MWC) is back and this year, it will be held between March 3 and March 6 in Barcelona, Spain. This is the biggest mobile expo globally, and like each year, we expect to see a bunch of new tech innovations.
But if you prefer knowing what is new in the mobile phone space, you’re in luck. This year too, we expect to see everything from feature-packed phones to concept phones with unconventional designs, and more. Read on to find out some of the new phones expected to be showcased at MWC 2025.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Xiaomi has announced its most premium phone, called the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and it is expected to be showcased in the Xiaomi booth at MWC 2025. It’s a beast of a flagship from Xiaomi that has a 12-bit OLED screen, Leica-tuned quad cameras, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The device also houses a large 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support. At the MWC expo, the global audience are likely to experience the device first-hand.
Realme Ultra
Realme will be present at MWC, and it’s set to launch a new smartphone with a 1-inch camera sensor. Called the Realme Ultra, the smartphone is advertised to offer 10x optical zoom support via its periscope telephoto sensor.
Unfortunately, not much is known about the phone. But if we were to hazard a guess, it will no doubt pack flagship-grade features.

Nothing Phone (3a) series
Nothing will launch the Phone (3a) series on the second day of the expo. The series is eventually expected to arrive at our shores, but MWC will be the first time attendees get to experience it. The series is expected to include two phones – Nothing Phone (3a) and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.
Both models will feature a new design and are expected to have a telephoto camera. The series is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and boot Nothing OS 3.0 out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
Samsung gave a teaser of the Galaxy S25 Edge at the Unpacked event earlier this year, and the ultra-slim Samsung phone could make an appearance at MWC.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to be a really thin phone with a 200MP camera onboard. For performance, the smartphone may feature a Snapdragon flagship chipset.

Tecno Camon 40 series
Tecno is also expected to be present at MWC this year, and it could be showcasing the rumoured Camon 40 series. The Camon 40 series is said to offer a new skin-tone imaging feature that improves skin-tone accuracy. The phones in the series will also feature a one-tap button to launch the camera, much like camera control on the iPhone 16 lineup.
