Marshall Motif II earbuds pack twice the punch with its signature design

Marshall is known for its premium speakers and soundbars and its black and gold colour scheme. If you’re into listening and playing some classic rock, you’d know that Marshall is also synonymous with guitar amplifiers. However, one category where the brand doesn’t really ring a bell is true wireless earphones.

This is despite Marshall having a few TWS earphones to choose from including the original Marshall Motif – a premium tier product. Now, Marshall is back to make an impact with its new Marshall Motif II earbuds. Here’s what you need to know about the product.

Marshall Motif II: What’s new?

The new earbuds offer the Marshall signature sound with perks like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and an improved 30-hour battery life. The Marshall Motif II earbuds also support wireless charging and feature an extra microphone on each earbud for better noise cancellation and call quality.

With the Marshall app, users can also customise their sound tuning to their liking. ANC support lets users block out unwanted sound, and the brand also mentions that the Motif II can outplay its predecessor by 10 hours per charge with ANC turned on. The buds themselves will hold enough battery to playback music for six hours.

Specifications include 6mm dynamic drivers, 4.3 grams weight on the earbuds themselves and 47.1 grams on the charging case. The case also comes with a USB Type-C port for charging, and supports quick charging, so you can charge it for 15 minutes for an hour of playback, and 1.5 hours for a full charge.

The earbuds are also IPX5 certified, while the case packs an IPX4 rating. With support for Bluetooth 53 LE, users can expect a range of 10m (30ft).

Marshall Motif II: Price and availability

The new Marshall Motif II is priced at Rs 19,999, the same price as its predecessor. It will be available to purchase later this month from September 12. You still get the lone black colour variant, along with the classic crocodile leather-like design.
