Mark Zuckerberg collaborates with T-Pain for a cover of Lil Jon’s ‘Get Low’

When he is not working, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been testing out his vocals with his friend T-Pain. The duo has recorded a cover of Lil Jon’s Get Low with a twist, and released it under the name ‘Z-Pain’.

In fact, Zuckerberg has transformed Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz’s 2002 Hip Hop/Rap classic into an acoustic ballad. Is this version better than the classic? Well, you will have to listen to it to find out.

Z-Pain release a single

Back in 2002, Get Low was a part of the album Kings of Crunk. It became a breakthrough single for the group as it charted internationally at No. 2 on both the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip Hop Song charts. Apart from this, the song also topped the Hot Rap Songs chart.

Earlier this week, T-Pain teased a partnership with Zuckerberg on social media. These two have been friends for a long time and have been featured in their respective Stories on Instagram. However, this move has taken everyone by surprise.

Sharing a post on Instagram, Zuckerberg explained how the track is a tribute to his wife Priscilla Chan. He also mentioned that this song was playing when they first met at a college party and that the couple listens to the song every year on their dating anniversary. If that’s not sweet, we don’t know what is!

So, this year he decided to work on his own version of the song as a collaborative effort with his good friend T-Pain. The song has been added to Instagram’s library and will be available on the Spotify app on your smartphone.

It is difficult to digest a rather poised-looking Zuckerberg singing R-rated lyrics, but we have to admit, it does sound catchy! Don’t forget to let us know what you think about the collab in the comments section.
