Logitech POP Icon series wireless keyboard and mouse launched

Logitech, the Swiss mouse and keyboard giant, has just announced their latest version of the POP Icon Keys, a new keyboard and mouse. The new keyboard is designed to provide a pop of colour and personalisation to the mundane office life.

The POP Icon Keys blend modern design with advanced functionality delivered by the Logi Options+ app. This app allows users to create Smart Actions and programmable shortcuts for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices.

POP Icon Keys: Features

The keyboard, POP Icon Keys, has a transparent trim and four customisable Action Keys that can be loaded or programmed with Smart Action. Using the Logi Options+ software can further customise them. For example, it can open your social media apps, music apps or launch your AI tools like the Logi AI Prompt Builder.

Pre-loaded with Action Keys, the keyboard is enabled with a suite of Smart Actions that can provide a seamless transition from “work mode” to “break mode” through a single press. The POP Icon Keys also provides a dozen one-touch shortcut keys in Windows and macOS that can also be programmed as regular function keys from F1 to F12.

Logitech has included dedicated screen brightness keys to the keyboard which was missing in the previous version. The new version also doesn’t have the noisy mechanical switches. Instead, it has square keys with rounded corners.

Another handy feature included is the ability to connect with up to three different Bluetooth devices. This can help to switch between a Mac, an iPad, or a Windows PC. Since the keyboard doesn’t have a USB port, it cannot be used with a cable. There is also no port for charging the battery because it is powered by just two AAA batteries which can last up to three years.

POP Mouse: Features

To accompany the POP Icon Keys, there is an optional POP Mouse that features a SmartWheel for precise navigation and Silent Touch Technology that reduces the mouse click sound. Even the POP Mouse can be programmed for customisable use with the help of the Logi Options+ app. It can make it easy to toggle between work and leisure modes.

The POP Mouse runs on a single AA battery which can last up to two years before it requires a change. The mouse can connect and switch between three Bluetooth devices. The compact mouse is also available in the same colour scheme to match the POP Icon Keys for a coordinated look.

POP Icon Keys and Mouse: Price

With a choice of fresh new colourways namely Rose/Off-White, Orange/Off-White, Graphite/Green, Lilac/Off-White and Graphite/Off-White, the Logitech Pop Icon combo offers multiple options to cater to most people.

The POP Icon Keys will be shipped globally in October 2024 and is priced at Rs 6,695 while the POP Mouse sells for Rs 3,595 on its own. The POP Icon Keys Combo is priced at Rs 9,295.
