Logitech M196 wireless mouse launched with Bluetooth LE connectivity

Logitech has officially launched a new wireless mouse in India. The Logitech M196 wireless mouse comes with an ambidextrous design, making it suitable for both right-handed and left-handed use. It also has Bluetooth LE connectivity and comes in three cheerful colours.

Logitech M196 specifications and features

The all-new M196 wireless mouse is made up of 67 per cent post-consumer recycled plastic, making it lightweight and portable. The mouse carries a weight of 76 grams. It has a compact form factor with an ambidextrous design, meaning anyone can use it, no matter whether the person is right-handed or left-handed. 

The mouse supports Bluetooth LE connectivity, which means it is energy efficient. The mouse can be paired with both Windows and macOS devices like the latest MacBooks. The mouse has a 1,000 DPI optical sensor and a wheel atop for smooth scrolling.

Logitech says that the wireless mouse can offer up to 12 months of battery life. The mouse can be powered with a single AA battery. It has features like auto-sleep that allow the mouse to go into sleep mode when not in use for a long time, extending its battery life.

Logitech M196 price and availability

The Logitech M196 wireless mouse is priced at Rs 1,125. It comes in rose, graphite, and off-white colour options. As for its availability, the mouse can be purchased online and offline through retail stores across the country. 

Other than this, Logitech recently launched another mouse dubbed the Logitech POP mouse, priced at Rs 3,595. It comes with features like SmartWheel and Slient Touch Technology that reduce the mouse click sound. The mouse supports pairing for three devices via Bluetooth.

The mouse is customisable using the Logi Options+app. Logitech also unveiled the POP Icon Keys keyboard alongside the mouse, which has customisable Action Keys that can be programmed with Smart Action. The keyboard costs Rs 6,695.
