LG XBoom 2024 Bluetooth speakers launched right in time for year-end celebrations

The last few months of the year are all about celebrating, and there’s no celebration without the right music. Whether you’re a fan of house parties or prefer taking it outdoors, speakers are essential to liven up a boring space. And right in time for the year-end blowout, LG has taken the wraps off its range of XL9T, XO2T and GO XG2T portable Bluetooth speakers within its XBoom series that are designed for those on the go.

LG XBoom XL9T 1000W Party Sound: Key features and specifications

The XL9T from LG’s XBoom series is crafted for home and outdoor parties. It delivers a 1,000W output through its dual 8-inch woofers and 3-inch tweeters. The speaker also gets a bass enhancement algorithm that packs an extra punch and an overall surround sound experience.

It comes with a ‘New Pixel LED’ illumination that lets a user customise text, characters, and even emojis that create a club-like atmosphere at home. LG has equipped the speaker with an IPX4 water resistance rating for outdoor usage, along with a handle and wheels for portability.

LG XBoom GO XG2T: Key features and specifications

The LG XBoom GO XG2T, on the other hand, is great for the party crowd that is always on the go. It gets a 5W output and a 1.5-inch woofer and like the XL9T, the XG2T also comes with a bass algorithm to spruce up your dance tracks. It also comes with an IP67 rating, along with military-grade resistance for those accidental drops and bumps.

LG mentions how the portable speaker gets up to 10 hours of playback and a customisable string for times you want to carry it with you along on your travels. The brand also mentions how it can be easily attached to bicycles, tents or backpacks. Lastly, the LG XBoom GO XG2T also comes with Bluetooth support for hands-free calls.

LG XBoom XO2T: Key features and specifications

LG’s third offering, LG XBoom XO2T delivers a 20W, 360-degree sound and comes with ambient lighting to set the right mood. The transparent glass effect creates a candle-like illumination and makes it an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use.

The XO2T comes with Bluetooth 5.3 and LG One Touch mode support. Apart from that, the speaker gets multi-point connectivity and pairs seamlessly with LG TVs for additional rear or front-facing sound when required. However, LG mentions how it can also be connected to other brands’ TVs as well.

LG XBoom 2024 series: Price and availability

The LG XBoom series will be available for purchase starting November 15. The LG XBoom GO XG2T portable speaker is priced at Rs 4,990, the LG XBoom XO2T can be purchased at Rs 12,990 and the LG XBoom XL9T party speaker, on the other hand, costs Rs 64,990. The speakers will be available on the brand’s official website and also across major e-commerce portals and retail stores.

Alternatively, you can also invest in the Marshall Kilburn II 36W speaker or the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 240W speaker which offer a similar set of features within this price range.
