LG has introduced its new lineup of OLED evo TVs at CES 2025. The new range includes M5 and G5 models, with the former being advertised as the world’s first true wireless OLED TV series. This year’s lineup packs LG’s Alpha 11 AI processor, which enables AI features like Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional and AI Sound Pro.
The new range of TVs support 4K resolution and feature modes like the Filmmaker Mode for the creative professionals. Here’s everything you need to know about LG’s OLED evo TV lineup.
LG OLED evo TV series specifications and features
The LG OLED evo TV series comes with 4K resolution support and 165Hz variable refresh rate. All the models in the series support NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.
Further, the OLED evo TVs come with Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, which, according to LG, enhances light control architecture and light-boosting algorithms to achieve three times higher brightness than conventional OLED models.
These TVs also support the new Filmmaker Mode with Ambient Light Compensation support. This is an advanced version of the Filmmaker mode that’s developed in collaboration with the creative community. It ensures that the original colours are preserved.
Powering the OLED evo TVs is the Alpha 11 AI processor Gen2. This AI-ready chipset enables features like Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional and AI Sound Pro. The former offers expert-level control over HDR10 content for professional creators.
The AI Sound Pro feature helps deliver rich and immersive audio with virtual 11.1.2 channels of surround sound. More AI features include support for Microsoft Copilot, Generative Image Gallery, and an AI search feature to help you browse better.
The M5 models are advertised to be the world’s first true wireless OLED TVs as they are capable of transferring audio and videos wirelessly at up to 144Hz.
