LG 2024 soundbar range launched with AI room calibration capabilities

Nothing upgrades a movie night quite like the addition of a soundbar. And LG’s 2024 range of soundbars, designed for an immersive experience, promises just that. The South Korean brand recently introduced its lineup of soundbars — SQ75TR, SG10Y, SQ70TY, S77TY, and S65TR — which are aimed at those already invested in the LG ecosystem. Apart from promising updated features, the soundbars also feature improved design and audio quality. Here’s everything you need to know.

LG 2024 soundbar range: Key features to look out for

For starters, LG has equipped its soundbars with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support. The features enable a surround sound effect in the room, which the brand claims, can transform your space into a ‘theatre’.

The new soundbars also get WOW Synergy for Orchestra, Interface, Cast, and ensure a balance between the audio channels, for an all-round audio experience. The feature also provides quick setup management and sound mode sharing with your LG TV. Users can also make the most of the WOWCAST technology that ensures wireless connectivity between the flagship LG SG10TY soundbar and a television.

If that’s not all, the LG SG10TY is also designed to go hand-in-hand with LG’s premium OLED TVs. It promises a clean, minimalistic look to your room with no visible wires. LG has also catered to QNED TV owners with its S70TY model, which is the brand’s first soundbar with a centre-firing speaker. The company has provided brackets for flexible placement options and has done away with the need to drill a wall.

Apart from this, LG has also equipped the soundbar range with Triple Level Spatial Sound technology that harnesses a 3D engine for channel analysis. According to the brand, this delivers a true-to-life sound based on your space. Lastly, on offer are also AI Room Calibration capabilities, that can analyse a room’s acoustics and adjust the settings on the soundbars accordingly, for a truly immersive experience. LG has extended this feature to the rear speakers as well.

LG 2024 soundbar range: Price and availability

The LG 2024 soundbar range will be available for purchase beginning this month. However, LG has yet to announce the exact date of launch. The range is priced starting at Rs 29,990. The soundbars can be found on LG’s official website along with other retail online and offline platforms.

Alternatively, you can also consider the Bose New Smart soundbar or the Sony HT-S40R 600W Bluetooth soundbar as well, which come with a similar set of features within this price range.
