Lenovo’s next Yoga Book may rock an All-in-One, dual-display design

The next Yoga Book could be the Asus ZenBook Duo rival we’ve been waiting for

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9 was one of our favourite laptops of 2023. It offered a compact body, a versatile design, and powerful specifications that made it right for just about every office goer. However, the next Yoga Book could double-down on the laptop’s productivity factor, by adding a secondary screen and maintaining the 360-degree hinge, all-in-one design.

As per leaks from trusted X (Previously Twitter) tipster Evan Blass, the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i Gen-9 comes with a 360-degree rotating screen, as well as a second display panel right above the keyboard. The post also suggests that at least the top display panel could be a touch-enabled one, to enable the tablet-mode features of an all-in-one. There also seems to be stylus support here, although we’re not sure if a stylus would be a part of the package.

Lenovo Yoga Book 9i Gen 9: What makes it special?

This design would make the new 9th generation Yoga Book 9i one of the very few laptops to actually feature two distinct displays, which in our experience is no gimmick when it comes to some serious multi-tasking, for both creators and other working professionals.

The second display, seen on laptops like the Asus ZenBook Duo series, offers users a whole new area to drag and drop windows, keeping an important secondary program or a secondary window of your primary program docked at all times. However, if the leak is correct, the upcoming Lenovo Yoga Book will also be able to turn into a tablet thanks to its fully rotating design, which is something the ZenBook Duo cannot do.

While we don’t know a lot about the internals of the laptop just yet, we do observe two Thunderbolt 4 ports on the side of the device. With the current lineup in the series sporting the 13th Gen Intel Core series chipsets, we assume the next Yoga Books would be powered by the new Intel Core Ultra CPUs.

Note that all this information is currently sourced from a tipster, so any finer details could change between now and whenever this laptop actually launches, if it ever does. We suggest waiting for an official confirmation from Lenovo on the same to get more details of what’s inside the next Yoga Book, and when you can actually get your hands on it. For now, just be glad that more brands are starting to look at the potential of dual-screen laptops.
