Lenovo has launched the Yoga 9i premium laptop in India today. The new laptop comes with a lot to flaunt, but the highlight is the 13th Gen Intel processor powering the machine. The Yoga 9i is one of the first laptops to feature the new 13th Gen ‘Raptor Lake’ chipsets and comes with other top-end features like a 14-inch 4K OLED display and IR-powered facial recognition.
If you’re looking for a power-packed, yet compact premium laptop, to carry to work, the Yoga 9i may just be what you’re looking for. Here’s a closer look at the laptop and all the details you need to know about it.
Lenovo Yoga 9i design and features
The Lenovo Yoga 9i sports an aluminium body and weighs 1.4kg. It is available in a single oatmeal colour variant for now, and also features a backlit keyboard. The dimensions here are 318 x 230 x 15.25 mm.
Users also get a camera privacy shutter, a dual microphone array, an FHD IR front camera that supports facial recognition and USB Type-C charging support. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the keyboard for quick authentication.
Coming to the connectivity ports, the Lenovo Yoga 9i features one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port that supports data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. There are also two more Thunderbolt 4 ports that are also capable of data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort 14 connections. Lastly, a 3.5mm combo-port for wired headphones or earphones is also present here.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i comes with a 14-inch 4K OLED touchscreen display panel that also features Dolby Vision support, HDR support and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. This display panel can also detect up to 10 fingers multi-touch at once and also supports the Lenovo Precision Pen 2.
Like its predecessor, the new Yoga 9i display can also be pushed back all the way to 180-degrees for a flat form factor, as well as further to use the device like a tablet while the keyboard half acts as a stand.
Lenovo Yoga 9i specifications
Under the hood is an Intel Core i7-1360P 12-core, 16-thread chipset. This chip includes four performance cores for intensive tasks and eight efficiency cores for general usage. This is accompanied by 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, as well as Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
The laptop also comes with Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers with Bowers and Wilkins-tuned audio, including two 3W woofers on the side and two front-facing tweeters on the hinge. There is an integrated 75Wh battery and the laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i starts at Rs 1,74,990 and can be purchased from Croma and other platforms online, as well as Lenovo Exclusive Stores and other retailers offline, starting from January 29.
