Lenovo has announced a new gaming tablet at CES 2025. The latest tablet succeeds the Legion Tab Gen 2 from last year. The tablet features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series chipset and 165Hz display for gaming. It also packs a dedicated cooling solution and houses a large battery. Let’s see the tablet’s specifications and features.
New Lenovo Legion Tab specifications and features
The all-new Lenovo Legion Tab features an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. It also has a faster 165Hz display for smooth scrolling and gaming. This is an upgrade from the predecessor’s 144Hz screen. Further, the display supports 288Hz touch sampling rate and up to 500 nits of brightness.
The laptop draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is a 4nm flagship chipset from last year. It has Adreno 750 GPU for graphical tasks, including gaming. There’s 12GB of LPDRR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for extra storage up to 1TB.
Lenovo has also stacked a dedicated cooling solution inside. It has a 14 per cent larger Legion Coldfront vapor chamber to keep the device cool even after extended hours of gaming. The device packs a 6,550mAh battery, which is unchanged. The fast charging also remains the same, i.e., a 45W support.
