Lenovo’s Tab P11 5G is the latest premium Android tablet to reach our shores. As the name suggests, this tab boasts 5G connectivity, and supports sub-6GHz networks. In terms of Lenovo’ lineup, the new Tab P11 5G sits between the Lenovo Tab P11 Plus and Tab P11 Pro . However, both the Tab Plus and the more expensive Tab Pro lack 5G connectivity.

Lenovo Tab P11 5G key specifications

Lenovo’s latest tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset and is backed by an integrated Qualcomm Adreno 619 GPU. It can be had in both, a 6GB RAM/128GB storage configuration, as well as an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Both variants’ storage can be extended up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Under the hood, the Tab P11 5G features a 7,700mAh battery with 20W fast charging support, which can charge the tablet to 100% in approximately three hours. The battery, Lenovo claims is good enough to survive up to 12 hours of video playback time, up to 15 hours of talk time, and standby for nearly five weeks.

The tab also has an IP52 water resistance rating, making easy work of sweat and accidental splashes. In terms of audio, the speaker features JBL speakers on all four sides with Dolby Atmos support, providing for an enhanced and immersive auditory experience as well.

The Lenovo P11 5G tablet features a single camera setup at the rear, with a 13MP shooter, while at the front, for video calls, it has an 8MP sensor.

Lenovo Tab P11 5G prices

The Lenovo Tab P11 5G retails at Rs 34,999 for the 256GB storage variant, and at Rs 29,999 for the 128GB storage variant.

How does it compare to its rivals?

In this price segment, the Tab P11 5G takes on the likes of the Xiaomi Tab 5 and the Realme PAD X . In comparison, Xiaomi’s Tab 5 features a more powerful Snapdragon 860 chipset, and also has a bigger 8,720mAh battery capacity. Where the Xiaomi tab falls short a little is the lack of 5G connectivity, and the limited 6GB of RAM.

Realme’s PAD X enjoys the benefits of 5G connectivity but is powered by a slightly lower Snapdragon 695 chipset. Like Xiaomi, it too comes with only 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. In fact, it also has a base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage and comes at a price tag that won’t burn a hole in your pockets. Another pertinent thing to note here is also the fact that the realme PAD X features a large 8,340mAh battery with support for 33W Dart charging.
