Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 is an AI-ready laptop aimed at boosting productivity

Lenovo has launched a new laptop in its IdeaPad series. Called the IdeaPad Slim 5 Gen 10, the laptop comes with a slim design, features an OLED display, and packs AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 chipset for AI workloads. The latter is capable of delivering up to 55 TOPS (trillions of operations per second). Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Lenovo AI-ready laptop.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 key features, specifications

Lenovo’s latest IdeaPad Slim 5 comes in two screen sizes – 14-inch and 16-inch. The 14-inch variant has a WUXGA OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support for a smooth scrolling experience.

The 16-inch variant has a crisp 2.8K resolution OLED screen with a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 500 nits of brightness. The IdeaPad Slim 5 has an ultra-thin design of 16.9mm.

Powering the laptop is AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 series processor. It has up to a Ryzen AI 7 350 chipset, which is built on the Krackan Point technology. The chipset is AI-ready, thanks to the XDNA 2 NPU that is capable of delivering up to 55 TOPS of AI processing.

There’s RDNA 3.5 graphics for graphical performance. The laptop also comes with Lenovo AI Now, which is an AI assistant designed to enhance the user experience. Lenovo says that the AI assistant leverages Meta’s Llama 3 LLM (Large Language Model).

Other than this, the laptop houses a 60Whr battery with support for Rapid Charge Boost technology for getting those quick top-ups. It also comes with an FHD IR camera, privacy shutter, and AI-powered noise cancellation. Lastly, the laptop boots on the Windows 11 operating system.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 price and availability

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 is priced starting at Rs 91,990, and it can be purchased from Lenovo Exclusive Stores and other offline retail stores in the country.
