Truly wireless earbuds or TWS earbuds are quite common lately, and they come in different shapes and sizes. While some may like a stem-like design, others prefer an ergonomic fit, ensuring that the earbuds stay put.
That’s exactly why JBL has launched its new range of Tune series of earbuds, comprising of three options that feature a distinctive design. Let’s dive deeper into the design and key features of the new JBL Tune Beam 2, Tune Buds 2, and Tune Flex 2.
What’s special about the JBL Tune Series 2?
Three of the models in the new Tune Series 2 come with different designs for different needs. Starting with the Tune Beam 2, the pair of TWS earbuds have a stem-like design with an in-ear fit. This is the most common design for TWS earbuds, and it’s great for passive noise cancellation.
The Tune Buds 2 have an ergonomic fit-style design that offers a snug fit. The earbuds cover up your ear canal, which offers passive noise cancellation, just like the Beam 2. The Tune Buds 2 and the Tune Beam 2 have 10mm drivers for enhanced sound.
The Tune Flex 2, on the other hand, does not have an in-ear design as they lack the silicon tips. That said, they sit in your ear instead of snugly fitting in your ear canal, and offer an open listening experience. They also have a larger 12mm driver for enhanced sound.
Apart from this, the earbuds also have features like adaptive noise cancellation, spatial audio, and multipoint connectivity. The earbuds also come with Google’s Fast Pair for instant pairing with Android smartphones.

Lastly, all the earbuds are advertised to offer up to 48 hours of total music playback without ANC. There’s also an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
