Infinix has launched its new Zero series smartphone with a focus on camera. The Infinix Zero 40 5G comes in the mid-range segment and offers an impressive specs sheet, with the highlight being OIS triple-rear cameras, 4K vlogging features, and compatibility with GoPro. Additionally, it has AI features such as AI Eraser, wallpaper generation, and more.

Infinix Zero 40 5G specifications and features

The Infinix Zero 40 5G comes with a revamped design when compared to its predecessor. It has a circular camera island on the rear and curved screen on the front, adding to its design aesthetics. The device has a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It’s a 10-bit panel with 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and TUV Rheinland certification for eye protection.

As mentioned above, one of the highlights of the smartphone is the camera system. The device has a triple-rear camera system housed in a circular camera island. The setup is led by a 108MP OIS main lens, a 50MP ultrawide unit with 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it has a 50MP camera for vlogging.

Infinix has stepped further and added support for 4K 60fps for both the front and the rear cameras. Additionally, there are camera features like Starry Night, Star Trail, and a camera mode for GoPro to help control connected GoPro devices like the new GoPro Hero 13 action camera from the phone.

Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired and 20W wireless fast charging support. The device boots on Android 14 OS and is promised to receive two major Android updates and three years of security patches. It has dual speakers with Sound by JBL.

Other than this, the device also has some cool AI features such as AI Eraser, AI Image Generation, AI-assisted translation, sticker creator, and a wallpaper generation tool.

Infinix Zero 40 5G price and colours

The Infinix Zero 40 5G effectively costs Rs 24,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and Rs 27,999 for 12GB + 512GB variant. The device has three colour options Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black.
