Pune-based video game developer, SuperGaming, has finally launched Indus Battle Royale, a much-awaited battle royale shooting game. The game was in the testing phase for months and is now finally available for everyone to try out. Both Android and iOS users can install and play the game right away.
Indus Battle Royale is set to go head-to-head with other popular battle royale titles available today like Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, BGMI, and Free Fire Max to name a few.
What is Indus Battle Royale?
Indus is a battle royale game that brings in an Indian twist to the usual battle royale experience. The game is set on a planet called Indus, where players take on the role of elite operatives called Mythwalkers. They are required to collect Cosmium, which is a rare resource on Virlok, a floating island on Indus.
The game offers several India-inspired characters like Morni, Sirtaj, Pokhran, Heena, and Mech-Balika. There are also some unique weapons that fit the Indian context like Agni Speak, Neo-Katar, and even Chappal.
The game comes with two unique features, namely Grudge system and dual victory condition. The former allows you to track and combat opponents you have previously defeated. This will let users play with their enemies anytime they wish, of course, if the other player is ready for a fight.
The dual victory condition, on the other hand, gives users two choices of winning. Just like any other battle royale, users can win the game by staying alive in the game till the very end, but they can also win if they collect Cosmium that spawns in the last round.
How to play Indus Battle Royale
As for its availability, Indus Battle Royale is live on the App Store for iPhones and Play Store for Android phones. So, if you are interested in playing it, install it from the respective stores and begin playing.
As mentioned above, Indus is meant to take on existing battle royale titles like Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, BGMI, and Free Fire Max. However, its initial release appears to be a bit glitchy with some users facing sign-up issues.
