HP EliteBook Ultra, OmniBook X Copilot+ PCs launched with Snapdragon X Elite chips

As more and more brands launch their own Copilot+ certified AI laptops, HP has a couple of new launches of its own. These are the new HP EliteBook Ultra and the HP OmniBook X laptops.

The laptops come with ARM-based Snapdragon X series chipsets, as well as AI workload speeds of up to 45 TOPS (trillion operations per second). Here’s everything you need to know about the laptops.

HP EliteBook Ultra: Features and specifications

The HP EliteBook Ultra comes with 14-inch touchscreen with 2.2K resolution. The laptop is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset, and is targeted at business users.

Specifications here include 16GB RAM and 1TB internal SSD storage. The laptop also packs a 5MP webcam on the front for video conferencing and Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop also comes with two USB Type-C ports, one Type-A port, and a combo audio jack

Being Copilot+ certified, the laptop is capable of delivering 45 TOPS when it comes to on-device AI-processing. However, it isn’t clear what features this laptop will power beyond the usual Windows Studio effects and Auto-Framing.

HP OmniBook X: Features and specifications

The HP OmniBook X also comes with a compact 14-inch touchscreen with 2.2K resolution. Also powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chip, the HP OmniBook comes with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage.

The 5MP webcam with Windows Hello support is also present here, as is the 45 TOPS of AI power. However, the HP OmniBook X does differ on its design.  The ports here include two USB Type-C ports, one Type-A port, and a combo audio jack.

HP also claims that both the EliteBook Ultra and the OmniBook X can deliver up to 26 hours of battery life, and both laptops can charge at 65W with a Type-C port.

HP EliteBook Ultra, OmniBook X: Pricing and specifications

The HP EliteBook Ultra is priced starting at Rs 1,69,934, while the HP OmniBook X is priced at Rs 1,39,999. Both AI laptops will be available from the HP website as well as with leading retailers, and are now available to pre-order.
