If you want to schedule text messages on your Android phone, go to the Messages app. Tap the Chat icon to create a message. Add the recipient from your contact list or type the phone number. After you have written your message, tap on the “+” symbol, which you will find at the top left of your keyboard.

Select “Schedule send”, and you will find the Select date and time options. Choose the date and time and tap on the Save option. You can check the selected date and time, which will now pop on the top of your typed message. If you want to modify it, you can simply tap on the popped time and date, and once you are done, hit the send button.

You can also modify the text and the time after you have hit the send option. To do so, tap on the arrow symbol that appears just below the text message which you sent. Once you tap on it, you will find the options to update your message, change the time, or even delete the scheduled text.
