Memories and pictures are precious and we can’t afford to lose them especially by mistake. We all might have deleted images on our smartphone accidently. Did you also happen to delete images on your iPhone by mistake? Or perhaps out of anger, only to regret it later?
Fret not, for you can recover them quickly and easily. Here’s how.
How to restore deleted images on an iPhone
It isn’t exactly a doddle to recover deleted images on an iPhone, but you can try taking these steps.
1. Look in the “Recently Deleted” album
2. Check iCloud
3. Use recovery software
4. Contact Apple support
Look in the "Recently Deleted" album
The “Recently Deleted” album is found in the “Albums” menu of the Photos app on an iPhone. Pictures are stored there for up to 30 days after being deleted, before they are permanently removed from the device. Select the photos you want to restore, long press on one and then tap the rest that you want to recover, and then tap “Recover” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Check iCloud
Check to see if your photographs are still present in your iCloud account if you use the same to back up your photographs. To check if backups are enabled, navigate to Settings > your name > iCloud > Photos.
Use recovery software
There are many third party tools to recover lost photos from an iPhone, such as Fone, iMobie PhoneRescue, and Tenorshare UltData. Please pay close attention to their instructions and ensure these softwares are reliable though, before using them.
Contact Apple support
The best option is to contact Apple Support or go to an Apple Store for help, if you can’t recover your pictures using the aforementioned strategies. To avoid further data loss, make sure to routinely backup your iPhone as well.
These are just a few easy methods using which you can restore deleted images to your iPhone.
