OnePlus Open, the brand’s first foldable, is now receiving its first major software update with OxygenOS 14. Users with the foldable phone can now update to the first open beta version of Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. If you have a OnePlus Open and are willing to try out the beta software to get a taste of Oxygen OS 14, here’s how you can get the update right now.
Before you begin, remember that the update is still in beta, and by proceeding you would be installing beta software on your phone. This may introduce some bugs and may require you to reset your device when you jump back to the stable channel later on.
If you don’t want to go through the hassle of setting up your device again, or experience any bugs, we suggest you wait for the stable update. If you still wish to proceed, here’s how to get the update.
OxygenOS 14: What to expect
OnePlus brings a bunch of new features with the new update, including all the perks of Android 14. Users can enjoy the new Aquamorphic Design 2.0 elements, which should give the entire user interface a revamp. There are also new Aquamorphic ringtones and notification alert tones to go with the new look-and feel.

Head to Settings > About Device > and check if the phone is on the latest version before you proceed. It is also a good idea to make sure your phone is charged to at least 50 per cent.
