With 2023 fast approaching its end, Apple Music has brought forth its much-anticipated wrap-up list for users who want an overview of their year. Like the popular music-streaming platform, Spotify, users can now go back and revisit their top played songs, music and albums with Apple Music Replay 2023. Not sure where to begin looking? Here’s how to find your year-end playlist on your smartphone app.

Apple Music Replay 2023: Find your top played songs, artists and albums

Apple Music Replay is a unique feature for users to show off their most-played favourite tracks of the year on social media by compiling them into a comprehensive playlist. While Spotify also has a similar function, Apple Music actually allows you to keep this playlist all year round. Here’s how to access yours:

Step 1: On your iPhone, open the Apple Music app
Step 2: Tap on the Listen Now tab
Step 3: You will see your Replay 2023 playlist, along with playlists dating all the way back to 2015 (if you’ve been a part of the app that long, of course!)

Additionally, you can click on Apple Music’s website to find more details on your top played artists and albums. And if you, like us, take pride in the number of hours you spend on the platform, the website gives you a peak into your year-round total listening time as well. However, to be able to access this data, make sure you’re logged into your Apple Music on your browser with your Apple ID and password.

Both Apple Music and Spotify generate a year-end playlist in November and early December, respectively. They are automatically available for subscribers and give them access to every type of metric based on your listening habits. Apart from being a social-worthy feature, we’re sure it makes a great way to chart how your taste in music has evolved over the years.
