1. Perform a backup
It becomes very crucial to back up all your important information and data before you delete or deactivate your account.
2. Log out of all devices
Perform a sign-out on all your Apple devices. You can do so by opening Settings and then choosing Sign Out against your name. Follow the steps that subsequently appear on your screen. Follow the same steps on your Mac by opening System Preferences, Apple ID and, ultimately, Overview. This will bring you to the option of Sign Out.
3. Go to Apple’s data and privacy website
Vist privacy.apple.com. Subsequently, log in with the Apple ID account that you want to deactivate.
4. Select the option to delete your account
After you have logged in, you have to choose the option that says “Dеlеtе Your Account”. Once done, you further have to choose the link that says “Request to Delete Your Account”.
5. Await confirmation via Email
As soon as you deliver the request, you will have to wait for Apple’s approval since they will review it whether it meets their criteria or not.

7. Final Confirmation
