For this type of conversion, multiple apps and services are available, such as websites that convert your video file into audio online without needing to download an app. Most of these website services and apps have a few essential functions free of cost, while they also offer premium services offering more options and functionalities.

– Filmora: Available for both Windows and Mac
– VLC media player: Available for Windows, Mac, and Linux
– Audacity: Windows, Mac, and Linux
– QuickTime: Default media player on Mac

For converting video to audio on a smartphone, you can do a simple search in their native App Store or play store and, based on reviews and ratings, download a suitable one.

All the converters are relatively straightforward. They function more or less similarly; at least the basic logic doesn’t change. Here is a simple guide to get the hang of it.  

– Open the app/website.
– You will find a tab/button/option asking you to choose a video file you want to convert.

– Then press the convert button and wait for a bit. Depending on the file size, app, and network, you may need to wait a bit.
– Once it is done, click on the download option, and you are done.
