How to change your Spotify password

With so much of our lives online these days, strong and unique passwords are more important than ever. Having such a password makes it significantly harder for hackers to gain access to your accounts, and threaten your data security and privacy. Among countless other social media and streaming platforms, one such app is Spotify.

And if you’re looking to change your Spotify password. We’ve put together this little guide for you. Read on.

How to change your password on Spotify?

The whole process of changing your Spotify password is pretty straightforward and it only takes a couple of minutes. The good news is, the platform also lets you do it as often as you’d like. Here’s how you to update your Spotify password in a few quick and easy steps.

Using the web browser

1. Head to your preferred web browser and open the Spotify password change page. You can find this by searching for “Spotify password reset” or clicking this link.

2. Log in to your Spotify account using your username or email address and password in the designated field.

3. Then, check your inbox for an email titled ‘Reset your password’ from Spotify. It might also land in your spam folder, so be sure to check there if you don’t see it within a few minutes.
