Samsung launched its Galaxy Watch6 smartwatch last year in July and is gearing up to unveil the next variant in the series this year. However, if you’ve had it on your wishlist and didn’t find the right opportunity to buy it, there couldn’t be a better time to get your hands on the watch. Samsung has just announced a price drop for the smartwatch and the Galaxy Watch6 series can now be purchased below Rs 20,000. Here’s what you need to know:
Samsung Galaxy Watch6 series price drop: What's there to know?
The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 is available in both Wi-Fi and Cellular variants and users can choose between dial sizes of 40mm to 44mm. Out of these, you can currently find the 40mm variant with Cellular connectivity available for Rs 27,999 on croma.com. That said, if you own an HDFC debit or credit card or an ICICI debit card, you can avail of an additional flat Rs 8,000 off on the smartwatch, bringing the final price down to Rs 19,999.

Alternatively, if you’re in the mood to splurge, the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic also gets an Rs 8,000 discount on its final price, bringing it down from Rs 40,999 to Rs 32,999 (Cellular, 43mm). Apart from this, you also get the option for a No-Cost EMI for up to 12 months.
Samsung Galaxy Watch6 series: Key features to look out for
Samsung puts the spotlight on health with both its Galaxy Watch6 and the Watch6 Classic smartwatches. The wearable devices come with over 100 custom workout trackers and a personalised heart rate zone feature. Moreover, the smartwatches offer gesture controls, advanced sleep-tracking and impact detection capabilities. The larger variants also flaunt a sapphire crystal Super AMOLED display and all four variants have a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 40mm variant is available in graphite and gold colours. The 44mm models, however, can be purchased in graphite and silver colours. The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic, on the other hand, is available in black and silver colours for both its dial options.
