If you thought GoPro cameras were all about their rugged dark look, then you’re wrong. For a limited time, at least, the GoPro Hero 13 Black has arrived in the new Polar White shade, and it adds a touch of coolness to the GoPro lineup. Here’s everything you need to know about the new colour variant of the Hero 13 Black.
All about GoPro Hero 13 Black’s Polar White shade
The latest variant of the Hero 13 Black retains the same hardware and design, with only colour being the differentiating factor. Unlike the standard dark look of the GoPro Hero 13 Black, the Polar White shade reflects coolness and has a matte finish.
The white shade is accented by a bit of black. It also has the blue ’13 Black’ branding embossed on the side. Apart from this, the hardware remains the same, which includes a 1/1.9-inch CMOS sensor capable of delivering a 27.6MP output.

The action camera supports up to 5.3K video resolution at up to 60fps. It can also record 4K and 1080p videos. There’s slow-motion support as well. It also has HyperSmooth 6.0 support for stable footage. It has a 2.27-inch touch display on the rear and a 1.4-inch screen on the front.
The Hero 13 Black has a rugged and waterproof design, and features a 1,900mAh removable battery. As for availability, the Polar White shade of the Hero 13 Black will be sold alongside the standard colour for $399 (about Rs 34,200).
It’s not clear if the new colour will launch anytime soon in India. But the standard Hero 13 Black can be purchased in India for Rs 34,990. There’s also the creator’s edition for those who want to up their content creation game.
