Google has updated its Google Photos app to make it more appealing to social media users. The app has received new AI-powered video editing tools and has also made it easier for users to find the basic editing features.

Google Photos is making it easier for you to edit videos
Google Photos now displays the video editing tools on the front when you enter the video editing mode. Most of the basic video editing tools are easily accessible in the video editor. There’s now a new trim tool that lets you trim videos effortlessly.

There’s also an Auto enhance button to stabilise and enhance colours in videos in one tap. Users also get a new speed tool for slowing down or increasing the pace of the video.
Additionally, Google has revealed that it is rolling out new AI-powered video presets on Android and iOS devices. These presets can automatically trim the video, adjust lighting, apply effects, control speed, zoom in the main action, all with just a few taps.
