The Dyson OnTrac headphones were unveiled globally in July 2024. Now the brand’s newest headphones are now set to be unveiled in India next week. Dyson has just announced that it will be launching the OnTrac headphones in India on September 23.
Unlike the Dyson Zone headphones, there’s no air purifying mask here, but Dyson does have another card up its sleeve – a customisable design. Dyson also claims the headphones combine comfort and acoustics. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the headphones ahead of the launch.
Dyson OnTrac headphones: Features
The headphones have been developed to provide high-fidelity, audio-only experience. Dyson OnTrac headphones are enabled with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. The algorithm here uses eight microphones that can sample external sound to up to 3,84,000 times a second, letting the headphones cancel up to 40dB of unwanted noise.

The headphones are said to have a 55-hour battery life. The battery is uniquely positioned in the headband for a balanced weight distribution. The headphones come with deep sub-bass and a frequency range of 6Hz to 21kHz. It is equipped with on-head detection for automatically pausing your playback on removing the headphones.
Dyson OnTrac Headphones: Customisation
The headphones will be made available with numerous external ear cups made in different colours and are manufactured from different materials like CNC Aluminium, Copper and Nickel. The user can mix and match these to come up with a creative custom style that is unique.
The headphones also feature customisable ear cushions that are made of foam and available in different colours. Combined with interchangeable cups, the device will offer over 2,000 personalised customisable colour combinations.
The device can be controlled with your smartphone via the MyDyson app, that includes real-time sound tracking. It also monitors in-ear and external volume, alerting users to potentially harmful audio levels. The app also includes three EQ modes: Bass Boost, Neutral and Enhanced mode.
Dyson OnTrac headphones: Availability
The Dyson OnTrac will be launched on September 23 all across India. The price in India is yet to be disclosed, but we should have more details soon with the launch just days away.
