Croma Squad TS is a budget smartwatch with Bluetooth calling capabilities

The lines between budget and premium wearables have begun to blur increasingly lately. The former now feature hardware and features commonly associated with much higher-end smartwatches, whether it is Bluetooth calling or find-your-phone capabilities. The budget wearables segment is flooded with brands vying for top spot – particularly boAt and Noise. Well, the latest entrant in the space happens to be Croma‘s Squad TS smartwatch.

Croma Squad TS smartwatch launched

The Croma Squad TS smartwatch features a square case, with an HD LCD display 1.85 inches in size, with a resolution of 240 x 284 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The device also comes with two silicon straps in the box, should you happen to be looking to switch things up every once in a while. It also features an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, ensuring it can handle the occasion splashes and light bouts of rain with ease.

The watch features Bluetooth calling capabilities with an in-built microphone and speaker, as well as support for messages and other app notifications. In addition to this, it has a heart rate and SPO2 monitor, and can even keep track of the number of steps you take and the calories you burn.

The Croma Squad TS smartwatch also supports voice commands, daily weather updates, 123 sports modes, as well as over 100 watch faces and in-built games. One can also control their music via the smartwatch. What’s cool is, the device also features find-your-phone capabilities, a feature generally seen in much higher-end smartwatches.

The Squad TS smartwatch boasts a battery life between five and seven days on a single charge. The same can also be extended, using the smartwatch’s in-built low-power mode.

Croma Squad TS smartwatch pricing and availability

Croma’s new Squad TS smartwatch can be purchased in a variant with a black dial and a black strap. However, as mentioned earlier, the device comes with an extra silicon strap included in the box, in green.

The smartwatch is priced at Rs 1,799 and can be purchased from the Croma website as well as stores across the country, starting December 1. A few other options one can consider in this price range are the Fire-Boltt Eterno, boAt Storm Pro and the Noise ColorFit Spark.
