Nothing unveiled the Nothing Phone (2a) at its Fresh Eyes event held earlier today. However, that wasn’t the only device introduced to avid fans today. Sub-brand CMF by Nothing, too, took the wraps off its two other offerings — CMF Buds and the CMF Neckband Pro — within its wearable audio segment.
While Nothing teased its Neckband Pro in early February on its social media post; however, it was only announced as a surprise reveal towards the end of the launch. Missed catching the event live? Here’s what you need to know about the announcement:
CMF Buds, Neckband Pro: Key features to look out for
CMF Buds come with 42dB of ANC and share a striking resemblance with the Buds Pro. However, the brand has equipped the TWS earbuds with four HD mics on each side to ensure crystal calling. CMF Buds will also sport advanced wind reduction and Clear Voice Technology for minimal disturbance during calls.

The earbuds additionally support Dirac Opteo correction technology alongside five equaliser settings to switch between music styles. CMF by Nothing has also packed a 450mAh battery on each bud and claims it can last eight hours with a single charge. Case charging, the brand states, can last up to 35.5 hours.
CMF Neckband Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 13.6 mm composite diaphragm driver that is installed to provide users with improved depth and bass. That said, the neckband will also feature Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, which can be modified up to five levels on the Nothing X app. Users can also opt for a Spatial Audio Effect, which CMF claims is designed especially for entertainment and games.
Like the CMF Buds, the Neckband Pro also gets a five-HD mic setup with up to 50dB of ANC. Furthermore, it uses an AI noise-cancellation algorithm to cut out external racket during calls. Along with this, users can also toggle between transparency modes when required.
The Neckband Pro comes with a battery capacity of 220mAh that can last up to 37 hours. The brand also states that ten minutes of fast charge can power up the neckband for approximately 18 hours. Lastly, both audio products come with IP55 water and dust resistance.
CMF Buds, Neckband Pro: Price and availability
CMF Buds are priced at Rs 2,499, and the CMF Neckband Pro can be purchased at Rs 1,999. The audio products will be available for purchase starting March 11. CMF by Nothing has also added three colour options, including Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange. Users looking at this price range can also consider the OnePlus Bullets Z2 Neckband and Redmi Buds 5 TWS Earbuds.
