Here’s how to check your Google Chrome version on an Android or iOS device:

1. Open the Google Chrome app.

2. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the app.

3. Scroll down and tap on “Settings.”

4. On the “Settings” page, tap on “About Chrome.”

5. You’ll see your current Chrome version number displayed prominently under the “Google Chrome” heading.

Checking Google Chrome version on Android

1. Open the Google Chrome app.

2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

3. Go to Settings > About Chrome.

4. You’ll find the Chrome version under the Application version.

Checking the Google Chrome version on the iPhone

1. Open the Google Chrome app.

2. Tap the three-dot menu in the bottom-right corner.

3. Go to Settings > Google Chrome.

4. You’ll see the app version listed at the very bottom, just below all the other sections.

How to update Google Chrome to the latest version?

If you’re running the older version and want to update Google Chrome to the latest available version, here’s how you can do it on various devices:

Updating Google Chrome on Mac and PC

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner.

3. Go to “Help” and then “About Google Chrome.”

4. This page will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, you’ll see a button that says “Update Google Chrome.” Click that button.

5. Once the update is downloaded, you’ll need to relaunch Chrome to apply the update. Simply click the “Relaunch” button.

Updating Google Chrome on Android

1. Open the Google Play Store app.

2. Search for “Google Chrome.”

3. If an update is available, you’ll see an “Update” button next to Chrome. Tap the button to update.

Updating Google Chrome on iOS

1. Open the App Store app.

2. Tap on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner.

3. Scroll down and look for available app updates. If Chrome has an update, you’ll see an “Update” button next to it. Hit the button to update.
