Meet the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro, that you probably cannot buy

The Apple iPhone 16 series has been launched with some cool new features and improved performance. Of course, the iPhones continue to be some of the most luxurious devices out there too. However, if all the luxury Apple can offer with the new iPhones is not enough, there’s a ‘special’ edition of the iPhone you should know about.

Meet Caviar’s ‘Art & Gold’ collection – the regular iPhone 16 Pro, except with a lot more premium metal on it. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

iPhone 16 Art & Gold collection: What sets them apart?

Luxury tech maker, Caviar is known to take stock products and turn them into pieces of art – in limited quanntities of course. Now, the company is releasing the iPhone 16 in three new designs – namely, Duomo, Symphony, and Paramount. Each of these models is available in 24-carat gold and 18-carat gold variants.

The Symphony model features a parametric pattern based on the Archimedean spiral. In this model, the Apple logo is also made of 18-carat gold.

The Duomo model on the other hand, is made of white gold and is inspired by the Gothic architectural style, featuring patterns inspired by the stained glass on old cathedrals. A frame made of 18-carat gold also surrounds the phone’s back for reinforcement.

The Paramount model features an 18-carat gold Apple logo, whereas the back design is inspired from an art-deco pattern.

Mechanically, the Art & Gold collection iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are the same as the regular models. This means one gets the same Super Retina XDR displays in either a 6.3 or 6.9-inch size, the A18 Pro chip with a 16-core neural engine and support for Apple Intelligence, and the triple-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, 48MP ultrawide sensor, and 12MP ultrawide sensor.

iPhone 16 Art & Gold collection: Pricing

The Art & Gold collection of iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, depending upon the model and storage variant you pick, as well as whether you pick a 24-carat or 18-carat gold model, will set you back anywhere between $10,630 and $62,740 (Approximately Rs 8,92,000 to Rs 52,63,000).

Bear in mind, buying them is not as simple as walking into a store or logging on to Caviar’s website, and swiping your credit card. All three of these models – Duomo, Paramount and Symphony, are a limited run of only 99 units each. If money is no object however, and you’re looking for something that truly sets your iPhone apart, it doesn’t get much better than this.
