Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile now available in India for iOS, Android

One of the neatest features both the App Store and the Play Store have come up with in recent years is the ability to pre-register for a game, allowing it to automatically download when it releases. As a result, many Indian fans of mobile shooting games found a much-awaited title waiting on their smartphones last night – Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

The newest Call of Duty title for smartphones, Warzone Mobile is a battle royale game, similar to titles like BGMI or its own predecessor Call of Duty: Mobile. The new game sets itself apart with a number of new features though.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile: What’s new?

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile drops players into a new battle royale arena where the last man standing wins. However, the graphics and the gameplay have both been revamped significantly to bring the game closer to Warzone’s PC counterpart.

Players can now play in a more realistic looking environment and can go up against up to 120 players. Iconic maps from the Call of Duty series like Verdansk, Rebirth Island, Shipment, and Shoot House also make an appearance here.

Players coming from Call of Duty: Mobile can also link their accounts for additional perks, including the ability to carry over their progress from the older game.

How to get the game

If you had pre-registered for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on Android or iOS, chances are you already have the game installed on your phone. If not, simply connect to a Wi-Fi network and the game should begin downloading.

If not pre-registered, you can simply head to the Play Store or the App Store and search for Call of Duty Warzone to find the game. Tap on the Install/Get button to begin downloading the title.

Supported devices will also allow you to download some additional data for an elevated graphics experience. We tried this on our iPhone 15 Pro Max and chose to download an additional 3GB of data. If you see a pop-up for the same, you can choose to download or ignore the additional data for more realistic graphics.

You can now get started with Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, but if mobile gaming is not something you enjoy, be sure to check out our list of the best video games of 2023.
