Bumble introduces new AI tools to help users find love

The advent of dating apps made it easier for users to connect with people in an attempt to hopefully find love. It made it very convenient for users to check out profiles and swipe right for the ones they were interested to know more about on their smartphones.

If you matched with the person, one could initiate conversation through the app via texts and making plans to meet up. With the invention of AI, this process can be adjusted where technology can help you look for love. It can become a helpful and handy tool that can help you showcase your best version.

Bumble AI features: What's new?

At a recent technology conference, Bumble CEO Lidiance Jones shared plans of setting up new AI-powered tools to enhance the app. The new tools aim to improve user experience in the areas of profile creation and conversation support.

In an attempt to reduce the anxiety of creating an interesting profile on the app, AI will aid the user with prompts and suggestions to refine your Bumble profile. AI will also help with picking out pictures that can be updated on the profile, along with helping users come up with profile bios and suggestions to initiate conversations.

Bumble tried out AI-assisted icebreakers on Bumble for Friends app, they are planning to incorporate it on the dating app as well. AI can craft personalised opening lines based on the profile of a match.

These new features will be rolled out on the Bumble app in the coming months.

Bumble AI tools: Deception Detector and Private Detector

AI has been deployed in Bumble in their safety tools as well. To avoid running into fake profiles and annoying spammers, Bumble’s Deception Detector can spot them and improve user experience. In order to steer clear of the dreaded unrequested nude photos, the AI-fueled Private Detector automatically blurs nude images shared within chats.

Bumble has also recently added the ability to report any profiles that feature AI-generated images or videos, which are explicitly prohibited by the app. While AI can prep you to show up, Bumble wants principles to be integrated on the app where people get to meet real people.

Bumble is available as a free app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, with premium features also available for users who want extra perks.
