BoAt Smart Ring Active announced with gesture control, AR view under Rs 3,000

Not very long after Samsung announced its Galaxy Smart Ring, BoAt has stepped in with its brand-new wearable device. The BoAt Smart Ring Active, which is expected to roll out starting next week, comes with a bundle of core health monitoring features and three flaunt-worthy colours. BoAt Smart Ring Active: Key features to look out for

The BoAt Smart Ring flaunts a stainless steel design and gets a range of fitness and health tracking features. Users can keep track of their cardiovascular health with its built-in heart rate monitoring feature. However, BoAt has also provided with stress and sleep tracking features which offer in-depth data to users as well.

The smart ring comes with a magnetic ring case that doubles up as a magnetic charging case for the device. For outdoor activities, the BoAt Smart Ring Active gets a 5ATM dust and water resistance for those who seek adventures. BoAt has also included gesture control for easy photography, and users can snap photos using their smartphone with a simple ‘shake’ gesture.

Another standout feature also includes an AR view, which displays important health metrics to a user with an augmented reality experience. Apart from this, BoAt has equipped the ring with 20 sports as well as activity modes and up to five days of battery life.

BoAt Smart Ring Active: Price and availability

The BoAt Smart Ring Active will be available for purchase starting July 20. The wearable device can be purchased in three colourways; these include Midnight Black, Radiant Silver, and Gold. If that’s not all, users can also choose from a size guide, and between sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.

The BoAt Smart Ring Active is currently the most affordable wearable device in the segment with a price tag of Rs 3,000 — significantly lower than the first-gen BoAt Smart Ring — which was launched at Rs 8,999. Alternatively, you can purchase smart rings from other brands, including the Noise Luna Ring S10 Smart Ring or the Ultrahuman Ring Air S9 Smart Ring.
