Homegrown audio brand boAt has launched its newest neckband, the Rockerz 255 Touch. The latest addition promises Spatial Audio powered by DIRAC Virtuo, and among its USPs is the swipe-touch functionality.
boAt Rockerz 255 features
In addition to spatial audio, the neckband also features boAt’s Signature Sound, delivered via 10mm dynamic graphene drivers. The neckband also features a Beast mode for gamers, which helps tackle audio lag with a 40ms low latency mode.

The in-built microphone on the Rockerz 255 is powered by ENx technology, which helps cut ambient sounds in one’s environment using intelligent noise reduction. This helps in delivering crystal clear audio quality during voice and video calls, and even more so during gaming.
The swipe-touch functionality is among the neckband’s USPs and guarantees greater ease of use. To answer/reject calls, simply double tap the touch control panel. A horizontal swipe allows users to change songs, while vertical swipe is used to control volume levels.
Furthermore, the neckband also has a touch ring. Tapping it allows users to switch between the signature sound and spatial audio modes. A triple-tap of the touch control panel allows users to activate or deactivate Beast mode. Users can also turn the power off on the neckband to save battery when not in use, via the magnetic power on/off feature. Simply attach the two earbuds to power them off and separate them to turn them back on.

The boAt Rockerz 255 Touch features a playback time of up to 30 hours on a single charge. Furthermore, the ASAP technology also supports fast charging, which provides up to 10 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging, via its USB Type-C port. A full charge from 0-100% for the neckband takes approximately an hour.
The neckband features Bluetooth 5.3 support for faster and more stable connectivity, and an IPX5 sweat and water resistance rating, making them perfect for use on the go, whether at work or hitting the weights at the gym.

The boAt Rockerz 255 Touch is available in three colour variants – Pitch Black, Deep Blue and Teal Green, and has launched at Rs 1,499.
