Any gaming accessory on the market is defined by innovation in two key areas – performance and design. The latter seems to be a key area for BoAt’s latest pair of gaming earbuds, the BoAt Immortal Katana Blade. The earbuds come with a metallic sliding case with a built-in speaker, RGB lights and a funky design on the earbuds themselves. Here’s all you need to know about the accessory.

BoAt Immortal Katana Blade: What’s new?

The BoAt Immortal Katana Blade comes with a metallic case with a unique design as you can see in the pictures. Instead of a lid, the case features a slide-out mechanism which users can easily push with their thumbs to reveal the two earbuds sitting vertically inside. The case also comes with a built-in speaker, which makes a quick sound mimicking a Katana Blade being unsheathed every time you slide open the case. Cool stuff!

Besides this, the TWS earbuds come with a plastic end, so no silicone ear-tips. You get 13mm drivers with the BoAt Signature Sound profile, and the company claims a battery life of 50 hours in a single charge (earbuds + case). You also get a low-latency of 50ms when using the ‘Beast Mode’, which will likely sacrifice a bit of your battery life for a more responsive audio output for when you’re actually gaming seriously.

BoAt also claims the RGB lights on the case are customizable. The earbuds also come with Bluetooth 5.3 support with an instant wake-and-pair technology that promises quick connectivity with smartphones.

The BoAt Immortal Katana Blade is priced at Rs 2,299 and comes in two colours – gunmetal black and grey, both of which look pretty close to the shade of an actual katana. While the lack of silicone tips means you will likely miss out on any kind of noise cancellation, you get a unique design and some great battery life at this price.

If these elements don’t matter to you, you can also check out other options in this price like the realme Buds Air 3S which come with ENC and water resistance, or the BoAt Rockerz 551 headphones which come with ANC and 100 hours of playback.
