It’s another day, and boAt has unveiled yet another new addition to its lineup of budget TWS earbuds in India – namely, the boAt Immortal 201. The new TWS earbuds happen to be part of its Immortal series, which is aimed specifically at gamers.
boAt Immortal 201 features and key specifications
The boAt Immortal 201 gets 10mm drivers with stems and silicone ear tips. There are also capacitive touch controls for functions including play and pause, receiving and ending calls, and more. They also come with an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning they can handle as well as the occasional splashes with ease. What’s cool is, there are RGB lights on both, the earbuds as well as the case.
The boAt Immortal 201 TWS earbuds get quad microphones with ENX technology, which ensures all ambient sounds are taken care of, whether on calls or while gaming online.
Speaking of gaming, they also get a 40ms super low latency mode, which ensures near-zero audio lag during marathon gaming sessions. The earbuds also get boAt’s Insta Wake N Pair functionality, which allows them to instantly connect to your phone, as soon as you open the charging case.
On offer is also Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, with a connection range of as much as 10 metres. Now, boAt claims that the earbuds can last for as long as 40 hours on a single charge with a 40mAh cell on them, and a 380mAh battery on the charging case. However, just how much that holds true with regular usage, remains to be seen.
boAt Immortal 201 pricing and availability
The boAt Immortal 201 is available in Black Sabre and White Sabre colours, and is priced at Rs 1,299. A few other options one can consider in this price range are CMF by Nothing Buds Pro, and the noise Buds Combat TWS earbuds.
