BoAt Airdopes ProGear are the brand’s first open-ear Bluetooth earbuds

The brand recently introduced its very first OWS (open-ear wireless stereo) earphones that are designed to deliver high-quality audio while ensuring maximum comfort for users. This time around, BoAt has dropped its traditional in-ear earbuds design which typically blocks the ear canal with silicone tips. BoAt Airdopes ProGear will feature an open-ear design which can hook around an ear offering maximum grip and stability. According to the company, this will help users remain aware of their surroundings without compromising on the sound quality.

BoAt also adds how the design will ensure enhanced comfort, ventilation, hygiene and ear fatigue, even after wearing it all day. The brand uses air conduction technology where sound travels through the air and vibrates within the eardrum, in its new design. It mentions how the the vibrations are then converted into electrical signals sent to the brain, to facilitate hearing.

Apart from the revamped design, the ProGear OWS earphones also come with Quad-Mic AI-ENx technology, which coupled with four microphones and an AI algorithm to effectively eliminate background noise. They are also equipped with 15mm drivers for deeper bass and richer audio quality. BoAt Airdopes ProGear get an ultra-low latency mode, Bluetooth v5.3 for seamless connectivity as well as a BEAST Mode, which makes them ideal for gaming or video streaming.

The company has given the earphones an IPX5 certification for those who like light outdoor activities such as gymming, jogging or lounging by a pool. Lastly, BoAt mentions how the earphones support up to 100 hours of playback and can get up to 10 hours of charge within 10 minutes with its ASAP Charge feature.
