With 2024 coming to a close, the two-time Academy Award winner and nine Grammys receiver, Billie Eilish has been named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year. This is Billie Eilish’s second win after taking home the inaugural award in 2019.
From a teenager writing songs with her brother on a MacBook to becoming a superstar, Billie Eilish has certainly come a long way.

To begin with she won two Grammy awards for her Barbie track, What Was I Made For? in the Song of the Year and the Best Song Written for Visual Media categories. In May 2024, she dropped her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Upon release, the album soared to the most coveted No. 1 on Apple Music’s all-genre albums chart in 138 countries. The album hit No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums charts. Individual charts featured hit songs like Lunch and Birds of a Feather from the same album.
She even performed Birds of a Feather at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony to welcome the 2028 Games to her hometown of Los Angeles.
What is Billie Eilish looking forward to in 2025?
Going into 2025, Billie Eilish has been nominated for seven Grammys. The Hit Me Hard and Soft has been nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Birds of a Feather has been nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Moreover, the ‘over now extended edit’ of L’Amour De Ma Vie is nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording. Her collaboration with Charli XCX Guess has also received a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
