BenQ GV31 portable projector announced for a theatre experience on the go

You may imagine a large-screen TV is the closest you’ll get to the theatre experience in your homes. However, that’s not necessarily the case. We have two words for you – portable projectors. Another such brand happens to be BenQ, which has just launched its new GV31 portable projector in India.

BenQ’s GV31 portable projector can project a screen up to 100 inches at full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and 300 ANSI lumens brightness. It also has a rotating lens that can project at angles of up to 135 degrees. What’s more, depending on your immediate environment as well as preferences, it can project videos in bright, cinema, daytime, game, living room, and sports modes.

Moreover, the projector also features support for Google Assistant, has Chromecast built in, and also comes with Netflix and YouTube pre-installed. That’s not all. You can also cast to the GV31 using your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook, via AirPlay.

The projector happens to be no slouch on the audio front as well. It comes equipped with two 4W speakers and an 8W chamber, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. Speaking of connectivity, the projector features support for Bluetooth 5.0 as well as Wi-Fi. In addition to this, it also features two HDMI ports, one USB Type-A port, and a USB Type-C port.

Coming to the battery on the BenQ GV31, it provides for three hours of video playback at a stretch, while audio playback time stands at six hours on a single charge.
