Backbone One gaming controller launched for iOS and Android

Backbone, the company that manufactures gaming accessories, has launched a new gaming controller for iPhones and Android smartphones. Backbone One controller looks similar to Nintendo’s Switch Joy Con controller or PlayStation Portal Remote Player, but with some additional buttons to make your mobile gaming experience better.

What’s special with Backbone One?

The Backbone One gaming controller is not your average controller that simply connects to your smartphone, rather it’s much more than that. The gaming controller is designed to fit most Android and iPhones, including the latest Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. So, you can fit your controller in between the two joy sticks and play your favourite games.

Backbone One features ultra-responsive analogue triggers and high-precision thumbsticks. The gaming controller also has an advanced D-pad and XYAB keys, letting you to slay your enemies in the game. You can connect your new Apple iPhone or Android phone with the controller via the Type-C port. There’s also a Lightning variant for those using older iPhone models.

The controller also has a dedicated audio port for connecting wired headphones and earphones, allowing you to get fully immersed in the game. The controller has extra buttons, like an option button, a full-screen key, and more.

Further, the controller has a collapsible design, making it more portable. Backbone says that the controller supports most popular mobile titles. This includes Call of Duty: Mobile, Genshin Impact, Minecraft, Diablo Immortal, and GTA: San Andreas. The controller also supports Xbox Remote Play and Steam Link.

Apart from the standard edition of the controller, it’s also available in the PlayStation Edition, which has special keys and comes in a white colour to match PS5’s white shade. The controller also enables PlayStation Remote Play, allowing you to play your PS5 and PS4 games on your phone.

The Backbone One gaming controller is priced at Rs 7,769 for the USB-C and Lightning models. The PlayStation Edition of the controller costs Rs 12,499. The controller can be purchase online from today.
