ASUS has taken the wraps off its first gaming laptop of 2025. Dubbed the ASUS TUF Gaming F16 (FX607), the laptop packs an Intel Core i5-210H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A GPU.
Designed for gamers and power-users, the device offers a fair number of connectivity options, Dolby Atmos sound, and a 16-inch 144 Hz IPS LCD display. Read on to know more about ASUS’ latest mid-range entrant.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F16 laptop is priced starting at Rs 80,990. You can get your hands on it at the ASUS e-shop, ASUS Exclusive Stores, and at retail outlets like Croma.
ASUS TUF Gaming F16: Build and display
The TUF Gaming F16 measures 35.4 x 25.1 x 2.21 ~ 2.67 cm and weighs 2.20 kg. It’s not too heavy for a gaming laptop, but it will still weigh down your backpack if you wish to carry it around.

The laptop houses a 16-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. It promises 300 nits brightness, which works in tandem with an anti-glare coating for a pleasant viewing experience.
ASUS TUF Gaming F16: Performance, battery, and software
The ASUS TUF Gaming F16 laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5-210H processor which features 8 cores, 12 threads, and has a maximum clock speed of 4.8GHz. As mentioned above, it houses an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A laptop GPU with 65 W TGP.
The laptop comes packing 16 GB SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM which operates at 3200 MT/s. The RAM is expandable up to 32GB. It also features a 512GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, and it supports expansion up to 1TB.
The laptop comes with Windows 11 Home and has Microsoft Office Home 2024 and Microsoft 365 Basic preinstalled.
The laptop draws power from a 56WHrs 4-cell Li-ion battery which supports fast charging. Its 150W AC adapter can top it up to 50 per cent in about 30 minutes.
ASUS TUF Gaming F16: I/O and connectivity
The ASUS TUF F16 has a healthy selection of ports. You get a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C which supports DisplayPort, power delivery, and G-SYNC with 10 Gbps transfer speed. There’s also two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, one HDMI 2.1 FRL port, one 3.5 mm combo audio hack, one DC-in port, and one RJ45 LAN port.
As for connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 with dual-band 2×2 and Bluetooth version 5.3.
