The Assassin’s Creed franchise has grown into quite the behemoth in the past few years, with newer titles in the series being some of the biggest launches every year. However, that shouldn’t take away from earlier titles in the series like Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, which set the path for the series’ rise to glory.
Now, developer Ubisoft is reportedly planning on bringing these classic Assassin’s Creed games to newer players, so they can experience the brilliance of older games in the series with the power of modern gaming hardware.

As per a Beebom report, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has now confirmed that multiple Assassin’s Creed remakes are now in the works. And we think this is a great idea!
Why we'd love a comeback from the older Assassin's Creed games
These games will likely feature better graphics that leverage the firepower of modern day GPUs, and should look great on newer gaming laptops and desktops – especially if you have a powerful machine like the Dell m16 R2. The games will likely also feature support for multi-monitor setups and ultrawide monitors like the Samsung Odyssey G9.
It isn’t clear which games are getting a remake, but anyone who has followed the series over the years would bet on Ubisoft starting with the original Assassin’s Creed, which follows the events of present-day protagonist Desmond Miles and his ancestral memories of assassin Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad.

The next games to remake would be the ‘Ezio’ trilogy which follows the events of assassin Ezio Auditore through Italy, Rome and eventually the city of Constantinople through three separate games, considered some of the best in the series.
Remakes are growing more popular
Assassin’s Creed is not the only series looking back at history for new titles. Popular games like GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas have received remastered versions, while Ubisoft’s own Prince of Persia series is set to get a Sands of Time remake in the coming years.
It’s great to see some of our favourite titles from all those years ago come back for modern spin, and that being the case without any effect on the development of newer games in the series like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which was recently made official.
